I am going to briefly discuss the novel Coronavirus that has become a pandemic with over 140 countries affected. Now, there are numerous blog posts that have blamed the Coronavirus on the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that occurred in January and a few others that have correlated the discovery of the virus with the lunar nodes going through Cancer and Capricorn, and each of these astrological events may have something to do with it and every astrological school of thought may have something valuable to add to the discussion.
However, I do not think that you can point to anything in the heavens and say, “aha, there it is!” Perhaps, we can only gleam our collective reactions to the pandemic based upon the energies of the cosmos, which at current seem to describe some interesting trends, but those trends were already alive and well before the virus was discovered.
I have had many of my clients ask me when this is going to be over because life as we know it has changed, and I am at a loss of words to describe, based on cosmology when it is going to end. Saturn- Pluto will give way to Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Aquarius, and Saturn, of course, moves into a square with Uranus in Taurus later this year. But again, these configurations only describe our perceptions of the moment, and although they may give valuable insight into how we deal with the virus, they will not necessarily end it.
Like any other configuration, we are going to have to deal with it individually and use our own strengths to deal with the virus through the fall (perhaps even longer), and ultimately, how to manage our reintegration into normal life – whatever that means. As a result, I am going to recommend some candles: Blessed Herbal Heart, Healing, and Hoo Doo Road Opener.
This candle grouping will help us deal with taking care of ourselves, healing not only our bodies but our minds, and opening the door to a better tomorrow. At the end of the day, we are left, like Pandora, with hope.
